Crimson (with Charmander by his side of course) were walking towards Brock's gym, "I sure hope we can beat this guy Charmander," Crimson said. Once they reached the gym Charmander immediatly ran up to the doors. Crimson started to jog as he followed Charmander, "Hey! Wait up buddy!" Crimson called as he reached the door. However much to his dismay there was a sign on the door. Crimson read it several times as he was stunned, "IT'S CLOSED!"

Zack walked up with Dart (Arbok) and Fang (Seviper). "Yeah. Unfortunately, Brock is out right now. You're out of luck at the moment, Crimson." Zack laughed. "You could battle me with my every-day Pokemon for training, if you want."

Crimson hesitated as he didn't want to be destroyed by the World Champ. Wait a sec! Crimson thought, He said everyday Pokemon.... I may have a chance! Crimson looked down at Charmander and saw the determination in his eyes. "Okay, that sounds fun!" Crimson said, "So... How do you want to do this, one-on-one, or...." Crimson trailed off as he was sort of embaressed by his stumbling of words.

"You mind sitting out for a little, Charmander?" Charmander shook his head. "Okay then," Crimson grabbed a Pokeball from his pocket, "Go Pikachu!" The ball opened upon contact on the ground and a Pikachu appeared from a beam of light from the ball, "Pika!" "Alright, would you like to go first or should I?"
